ANNUAL REPORT—- 2021-2022
The session 2021-2022 started as the school was gradually recovering from the sudden shock of the sweeping change in our Teaching-Learning process caused by COVID 19 .Though we were better equipped than the session of 2020-2021 in the Online Mode of Teaching, challenges still were manifold.The school mainly ran through online mode with intermittent Physical classes only for the Senior Section, as & when permitted by the District Education Department. Various Online Assessment Methods were adopted by school, in an effort to maintain the continuity of the progress of the students .The Half Yearly Exam was conducted in Offline mode for Classes IX to XII . The other classes had their Examination in the Offline mode with Question Papers prepared by Educational Initiative(EI), an external body that has been giving conceptual tests across the classes for the last 8 years in school.The other monthly EI tests were taken by students in online mode in the evening from home. The Olympiad Exams by SOF were also conducted in Online mode , which the children took outside their school hours.Yoga Sessions were held every morning before the starting of the school by the school Yoga teacher through MSTEAMS. There was a slot in the daily schedule ,to show Videos of Sports Activities & Motivational videos, from school everyday.The school had by then, gained enough expertise to celebrate all the occasions in Online mode. Thus Independence Day, Teachers’ Day, Children’s Day were celebrated online through MS TEAMS ,with children logging in from home, and teachers watching through Projector at the Audio Visual Room , following all COVID protocols. Children gathered all the technical skills under the guidance of their tech savvy teachers and parents to record all their programmes at home & send it to school before each celebration.The Annual Exam was conducted in Physical mode for classes VI to XI ,as situation had improved by then but the Junior Classes had their Periodic Test in Online mode.All Teachers & the Principal attended the Training Sessions as and when conducted in Online mode.Online Meetings were held by the school for HOL groups , twice in the Session. Online Parent Teacher Meetings were held for different classes at different points of the year.Like the previous session , in the session 2021-’22 also, the Annual Day Celebration was not held.
