As a part of the plantation programme, our children have taken up a project to beautify a hillock adjacent to the school campus, after obtaining due permission from the state authorities. The thorny bushes or the pebbles on the way, couldn’t dampen the spirit of the enthusiastic children to plant around 300 saplings on the hillock, on 1st July, 2017.
Annual Athletic Meet of 2017-2018 was held on 22nd & 23rd December, 2018. Mr. Balaram Prusty, Ex-Principal of D.N High School and a renowned educationalist of Keonjhar had been the Chief Guest at the Valedictory Function on the Closing Day.

Class VII – Nearest village ‘SANKARPUR’ to experience farming methods & village life. Children interviewed the leaders of the Pancha yat Office to find out the various developmental work being done by them
Class IV & V – Fishery to watch Pisciculture .
Class VIII – Village (Thakurpatna) The children presented an Awareness Programme on Cleanliness to the villagers.

Like every year, the Annual Exhibition ‘SANRACHANA’ was held in the month of November, where skill and talents of the children were displayed through models, projects & paintings. Mr. Kiran Sahu, Retd. Wing Commander, currently an active social worker as the President of Kendujhar Citizens’ Forum, had been the Chief Guest at the lnaugural Function. This year’s special attraction was the ‘Snacks Corner’ organized by the Hobby Club —‘Pots & Pans’.
Children enjoy cleaning their own campus. The last cleaning was held on 13th January 2018 when the children of the Secondary Section cleaned the different parts of the school with great zeal, as a part of Saturday Activity.
